Hi, I’m Brittney aka @tattoo.me.bri— a Chicana tattoo artist living in Canada and the heart behind Pura Esencia.

Pura Esencia was born from the three things I value — art, sustainability, and my Mexican roots. It’s a reflection of me: an aesthete for all things art, and the soul of the place my family comes from— reimagined through a lens of luxury and authenticity.

Streetwear has always been my everyday style, but I wanted more — something that I know I’m proud to wear. Pura Esencia was born from that idea: comfy fits on every body, sustainable/eco friendly materials, and detailed, intentional designs.

My hope for Pura as it grows is that it continues to give back — to various communities and to the world we all share. This is Pura Esencia, or, Pure Essence, at its core.
